Batavia Township, OH (July 7, 2024) – Police in Batavia Township responded to the scene of a motorcycle crash with injuries on Saturday, July 6th. The accident happened just after 12:30 p.m. on State Route 32.

According to a report from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 21-year-old Seth Wright of Batavia was riding a motorcycle eastbound on State Route 32 when he collided with a car driven by 36-year-old Madeline Purvis of Batavia. Wright’s motorcycle then overturned in the median following the collision. Paramedics responded to the scene where they transported Wright to Clermont Mercy Hospital with serious injuries. He was later airlifted to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Purvis was not hurt in the crash. The incident remains under investigation at this time. No additional details are available.
