Blue Ash, OH (December 23, 2024) – A tragic head-on crash occurred on Ronald Reagan Highway on Friday when 59-year-old Terri Lynn Hayes was driving the wrong way and collided with an SUV. Hayes was pronounced dead at the scene, while the two occupants of the SUV were injured and transported to the hospital with injuries. Emergency responders, including firefighters, assisted with vehicle extraction and medical transport.

While police worked to clear the scene, a suspected drunk driver, 34-year-old Annamarie Wabnitz, crashed into one of the cruisers. Wabnitz was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence (OVI), and the investigation into the initial crash is ongoing, with authorities considering impairment or a medical condition as possible factors.
