Boardman, OH (August 6, 2024) – An injury crash resulted from a police chase involving a stolen vehicle on Sunday afternoon in Boardman. The incident occurred at the intersection of U.S. Rte 224 and South Ave around 4:00 p.m.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP), the pursuit began after a Ford Expedition was reported stolen from Cleveland Hopkins Airport. Troopers pursued the vehicle onto Route 224 in Boardman, where it collided with an OSHP cruiser. Subsequently, a second OSHP cruiser collided with a pickup truck near South Ave, causing the truck to overturn.
