Centerville, OH (June 21, 2024) – The Centerville Police Department responded to the scene of a two-vehicle accident on Thursday, June 20th. The collision took place around 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of South Main Street and Rhodes Center Drive.

According to a report from the scene, Ruslan Urishanov, of Centerville, was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Volt southbound on South Main Street. At the same time, John Schultz, of Kettering, was operating a 2019 Harley Davidson northbound on South Main Street. Urishanov tried to make a left turn onto Rhodes Center Drive but failed to yield to Schultz, causing a crash between the two vehicles. The motorcycle sustained heavy damage and Schultz suffered serious injuries. He was taken to Kettering Main for further treatment. There is no update on his condition at this time. Following an investigation, Urishanov was charged with failure to yield the right of way. No other injuries were reported. There is no additional information available at this time.
