Cincinnati, OH (March 30, 2024) – Officials in Cincinnati were dispatched to the scene of an injury crash on Friday morning, March 29th. The crash took place around 3:45 a.m. on West 5th Street near the entrance to Interstate 75.
According to a report, a 16-year-old driver was traveling the wrong way on the West 5th Street Bridge before entering the ramp and colliding head-on with another vehicle. Four juveniles in the 16-year-old’s vehicle were taken to a hospital with injuries ranging from minor to serious. A passenger in the second vehicle was treated at the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Following an investigation, police determined that the 16-year-old was intoxicated at the time of the crash. The bridge was shut down for about an hour while officials investigated the collision.
