Circleville, OH (December 31, 2024) – An injury two-car crash occurred on Saturday evening in Circleville, leaving three individuals injured. The incident, reported by the Circleville Police Department, took place around 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of Pickaway St and another local road near the city center.
According to the Circleville Police Department, a 17-year-old driver was heading southbound on Pickaway St when they stopped at a stop sign but failed to yield the right of way. The teen’s 2005 Honda Accord collided with a 2001 Chevy Silverado driven by 19-year-old Forrest Mumaw of Circleville.
Both drivers sustained injuries in the crash. Forrest Mumaw was transported by emergency responders to Berger Hospital in Circleville for treatment. The driver of the Honda Accord declined medical attention at the scene. A passenger in the Chevy Silverado, also injured in the crash, was taken to the hospital for further evaluation and care.
