Clay Township, OH (May 1, 2024) – A crash in Clay Township left one person injured on Wednesday morning, May 1st. The incident took place around 8:15 a.m. on Upper Lewisburg Salem Road and Number Nine Road.
According to a report from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, a school bus was traveling northbound on Number Nine Road when the bus driver came to a stop sign at the intersection with Upper Lewisburg Salem Road. The driver failed to yield the right of way at the stop sign and collided with a car that was traveling westbound. One occupant of the car was taken to an area hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries. The victim’s condition has not been updated at this time. Two children were on board the bus at the time of the crash but neither were hurt. There were no additional injuries reported. An investigation into the crash remains ongoing and there is no word on any potential charges. No further information is available at this time.
