Car Accidents in Ohio
Crash statistics from the Ohio Department of Public Safety show that more than 290,000 motor vehicle accidents occur in our state every year. These accidents took the lives of more than 1000 people while leaving more than 72,000 people injured. Dealing with the physical and emotional injuries following motor vehicle collisions can be quite challenging. Unfortunately, this is all too common for many people in our state.
Car crashes have the potential to cause severe harm to those involved. Unfortunately, we see many victims left with spinal cord fractures, internal organ injuries, and trauma to the head as a result of their accidents. After being harmed in an accident, car crash victims have the ability to file a personal injury claim against those at fault. Even in cases where motorists share some of the faults, they may still be able to recover compensation. However, they must be able to demonstrate that they were less than 51 percent responsible for the crash and the damages. In order to provide yourself with the best chance of getting justice after your accident, it is in your best interest to seek guidance from a car accident lawyer in Ohio as soon as possible.
