Columbus, OH (November 8, 2024) – A serious injury bicycle crash occurred on Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Godown Rd and Bethel Rd in northwest Columbus. The incident, which took place around 3:40 p.m., left a local bicyclist critically injured and prompted an immediate response from Columbus police, fire crews, and emergency medical personnel.
According to initial reports from the Columbus Police Department, a 2024 silver Volkswagen Tiguan was traveling westbound on Godown Rd, approaching a green traffic light at the intersection of Bethel Rd.
