Columbus, OH (January 31, 2025) – An injury car crash occurred on Friday, January 31, in Columbus, involving two cars. The incident, reported by the Columbus Police Department, happened at approximately 5:26 p.m. at the intersection of OH-315 North and West Goodale Street, in the Harrison West area.

According to the Columbus Police Department, a collision occurred between a sedan and an SUV when the sedan collided with  the SUV for reasons that are still being inquired by the police. The force of the impact caused significant damage to both vehicles. Emergency medical services (EMS) arrived at the scene shortly after the incident and transported one individual to Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The other driver was evaluated on the scene and later released.

The Columbus Fire Department assisted with the extrication of the drivers and cleared debris from the road. The crash caused some traffic delays as authorities worked to clear the wreckage and ensure the safety of all parties involved.

The authorities have confirmed that the cause of the crash remains under investigation, but they emphasized that both drivers are cooperating.
