Columbus, OH (March 11, 2024) – The Columbus Police Department responded to the scene of a traffic collision on Monday evening, March 11th. The accident took place around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Chatterton Road and Falcon Ridge Dive near Blacklick Estates.
The Columbus Fire Department also arrived at the scene. According to officials, the accident involved a school bus and a car as the two vehicles collided head-on with one another. Both the bus and the car sustained significant property damage in the collision. A total of three people were injured in the crash. The victims were taken to Mount Carmel East Hospital and Grant Medical Center for treatment. One person was listed in serious condition while another was in stable condition. There were no students aboard the bus when the crash happened and the bus driver was not injured. The cause of the accident remains under investigation at this time. There is no additional information and it is unknown whether any charges will be filed in connection with the crash. No further details have been released.
