Dayton, OH (January 26, 2024) – A car accident in Dayton resulted in injuries on Thursday, January 25th. The accident took place around 7:45 p.m. on Troy Street near the intersection with Stanley Avenue.
According to a report from the scene, Samuel Kamali, of Huber Heights, was operating a 2010 Ford Fusion on Troy Street when he arrived at the intersection with Stanley Avenue. Kamali tried to make a turn from the stop sign but failed to yield the right of way and collided with an oncoming vehicle driven by Menelik Amda, of Dayton.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and treated Amda for non-life-threatening injuries due to the collision. There is no word at this time on whether any charges will be filed. Police partially closed the road while they investigated the collision. Motorists were advised to avoid the scene and to find alternate routes of travel if possible.
