Dayton, OH (June 1, 2024) – Police in Dayton were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash with injuries on Friday, May 31st. The accident took place around 7:00 p.m. on Derbyshire Drive, near US-35.
Police say that a car was traveling southbound on Gettysburg when it came to a stop sign. The driver then tried to make a left turn onto US-35. However, as they tried to turn, the car collided with a second vehicle that was traveling southbound on US-35. The two cars collided, sending the first car off the road and down an embankment. The second car came to rest in the roadway. After the crash, both drivers were transported to an area hospital where they received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. At this time, there is no word on whether any charges will be filed in connection with the accident. An investigation remains ongoing and no further details are available.
