Dayton, OH (February 24, 2024) –Police in Dayton were dispatched to the scene of a two-vehicle crash with injuries on Friday, February 23rd. The accident happened at approximately 1:45 p.m. at the intersection of Stanley Avenue and Valley Street.
According to police, Isaac Goodwin, of Dayton, was driving a 2014 Toyota Avalon southeast on Stanley Avenue when he arrived at a traffic light at the intersection with Valley Street. Goodwin had a red light in his direction of travel but failed to stop and entered the intersection against the red light. His car then collided with a 2013 Ford Fusion driven by Joyce Rohrback, of Kettering. Rohrback received injuries in the crash and was treated at the scene. Her injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening at this time. Following a police investigation, Goodwin received a citation for failure to obey a traffic device. There were no other vehicles involved. No further information is available at this time.
