Dayton, OH (January 30, 2024) – A pedestrian was injured in a crash that took place in Dayton on Monday night, January 29th. The crash was reported just before 10:00 p.m. in the 3400 block of Salem Avenue.
According to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch, a 29-year-old woman was walking near Salem Beverage when she was hit by a car. The woman suffered a serious ankle injury and was rushed to a hospital for treatment. She was listed in serious condition following the collision. Her identity has not been released at this time. Police have not provided any information on the suspect’s identity or a description of the vehicle involved at this time. The road was partially closed while the crash was investigated. Drivers were urged to find alternate routes of travel.
