Traffic Accidents in Ohio
Traffic accidents in Ohio result in approximately 60,000 injuries each year. Many of the victims of injury crashes are innocent victims who were affected by the actions of negligent drivers. Some common causes of injury accidents in our state include:
- Distraction
- Impairment
- Speeding
- Failure to yield the right of way
- Improper vehicle equipment
- Poor roadway or weather conditions
If you have been affected by an injury crash that was not your fault, it is important to seek legal help right away. Under Ohio’s personal injury laws, you could have the right to receive compensation for your injuries. However, your rights depend upon many factors and it is easy to make costly mistakes without having legal help. Too often, victims make the mistake of trying to handle their own claims, resulting in a settlement that is worth far less than the actual value of their cases.
