Dayton, OH (February 8, 2024) – Police in Dayton responded to the scene of an injury crash on Thursday, February 8th. The accident took place at approximately 4:00 p.m. at the intersection of Stanley Avenue and Webster Street.
According to officials, a driver was traveling eastbound on Stanley Avenue in a white cargo van. The driver came to a stop sign at the intersection with Webster Street. The van failed to stop at the stop sign and entered the intersection where it collided with a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Bryan Alvarez, of Dayton. Alvarez sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash and was treated at the scene by paramedics. There is no further word on his condition at this time. The driver of the cargo van was charged with failing to obey a traffic control device. There were no additional injuries reported as a result of the accident. Police have not provided any additional information at this time.
