Dayton, OH – Serious Injuries in Head-On Crash on N. Main St.

Dayton, OH (June 10, 2024) – Police in the Dayton area responded to the scene of a car accident with injuries on Monday afternoon, June 10th. The crash occurred around noon on North Main Street near Mary Avenue.

According to the Dayton Police Department, officials tried to initiate a traffic stop on a vehicle with excessive window tint. The driver, however, fled from police before they could make the stop. The police vehicle engaged in a brief chase. The suspect vehicle crossed the left of the center on North Main Street and collided head-on with a vehicle that was traveling in the opposite direction. Both drivers suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash. No one involved in the accident has been identified at this time. Charges are pending the outcome of an investigation. There is no further information available.
