Dayton, OH (May 21, 2024) – Officials in Darke County responded to the scene of a multi-car crash on Tuesday afternoon, May 21st. The incident occurred around 6:00 p.m. on State Route 49 near Hogpath Road.
According to a report from the scene, a 2002 Chevrolet Corvette was traveling southeast on State Route 49 and was waiting to make a left turn onto Hogpath Road. At the same time, a 1997 Ford F150 failed to stop behind the Corvette and the two vehicles collided with one another. The Ford then traveled into the northbound lane and collided with a 2013 Dodge Dart. The driver of the Corvette and the Dodge suffered injuries and were treated at the scene. The Ford driver was taken to Miami Valley Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No one involved in the crash has been identified. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
