Dayton, OH (January 23, 2024) – Officials with the Dayton Police Department were called to the scene of a two-car accident with injuries on Monday, January 22nd. The crash happened around 8:00 a.m. on West Grand Avenue.
According to a report from the scene, Paula Godfrey, of Arcanum, was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado on a private road when she tried to turn onto West Grand Avenue. Godfrey failed to yield to an oncoming vehicle and collided with a 2008 Nissan Altima driven by Lavonzella Bradley, of Indianapolis, IN. A 25-year-old passenger in Bradley’s vehicle was treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries. There is no update on the victim’s condition at this time. No additional injuries were reported in the crash. There is no word on whether any charges will be filed in connection with the accident. The crash is still under investigation and no further details have been released.
