Huber Heights, OH (April 29, 2024) – Police in Huber Heights were called to the scene of a two-vehicle injury crash on Monday morning, April 29th. The accident happened on State Route 4 near New Carlisle Pike just before 10:00 a.m.
According to a report, the accident involved a large excavating vehicle and pickup truck. The driver of the pickup truck was pinned inside his vehicle following the collision. Fire and rescue crews responded and extricated the victim from the truck. He was then transported by CareFlight to an area hospital. There is no update on his condition or the severity of his injuries at this time. It is unknown whether anyone else was injured in the accident. Police closed the road while the accident was investigated. Drivers were told to avoid the scene and to find an alternate route of travel. An investigation is underway.
