Jeffersonville, OH (May 24, 2024) – Multiple people were taken to the hospital after a crash that took place in Jeffersonville on Wednesday afternoon, May 22nd. The accident happened just after 4:00 p.m. in the southbound lanes of I-71 near exit 69.
According to a report from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, at least four cars were involved in the collision. A total of 10 motorists suffered injuries. Three people were flown from the scene to an area hospital while seven more were taken to the hospital via ambulance. The conditions of the victims are not known at this time. There is no information on the identities of the victims or the cause of the collision. The southbound lanes of I-71 were closed while police investigated.
