Liberty Township, OH (April 12, 2024) – Police in Liberty Township responded to the scene of a car accident with injuries on Friday, April 12th. The crash happened just before 3:00 p.m. on Hillgrove-Southern Road near Greenville-Nashville Road.
According to a report from the scene, a white Ford F-350 was traveling northbound on Hillgrove-Southern Road when the truck turned right onto Greenville-Nashville Road. The truck then tried to make a left turn and crashed into an eastbound Jeep Cherokee. The Jeep went off the road and struck a utility pole before coming to rest. The driver and a front seat passenger in the Jeep were taken to Miami Valley Hospital, while a 1-year-old back seat passenger was taken to Wayne HealthCare. There is no information on the extent of the victim’s injuries ort their conditions at this time. The driver of the pickup was not hurt. An investigation into the accident is under investigation.
