Liberty Township, OH (July 7, 2024) – Police in Liberty Township responded to the scene of an injury crash on Sunday afternoon, July 7th. The accident occurred just after 1:00 p.m. in the 700 block of State Route 502.
According to a report from the Darke County Sheriff’s Office, a Ford Crown Victoria was traveling eastbound on OH-502. At the same time, a Dodge Caravan was traveling westbound on the same road. The Crown Victoria and the Caravan collided with each other as the Caravan tried to make a left turn into a driveway. The driver and passenger of the Caravan were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. No one in the Crown Victoria was injured. None of the occupants have been identified at this time. There is no word on whether any charges will be filed. The crash remains under investigation. There is no further information available.
