Lucas Co, OH (January 6, 2025) – An injury four-car crash occurred on Monday, January 6, in Lucas County, leaving six people injured. The incident happened shortly before 2:45 p.m. at the intersection of W Sylvania Ave and N Holland Sylvania Rd. Local authorities reported that airbags deployed in three of the four vehicles involved, while emergency responders worked diligently to assist those affected.
Sylvania firefighters arrived at the scene with all four of their advanced life support (ALS) EMS transport units and several fire trucks. They extricated the cars and provided aid to the injured individuals. All six adults were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment. The severity of their injuries has not been disclosed, and their conditions are currently under investigation.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is leading the investigation into the cause of the crash. Traffic was temporarily diverted from the area as authorities managed and cleared the scene.
