Oakwood, OH (June 16, 2024) – The Oakwood Police Department was called to the scene of a two-car crash with injuries on Saturday, June 15th. The crash happened just after 11:00 a.m., on Spirea Drive at Shafor Boulevard.
According to a report from the scene, a 2005 Ford Freestar was traveling northbound on Shafor Boulevard. The driver tried to make a left turn in order to travel eastbound on Spirea. The driver, however, failed to yield to an oncoming vehicle and collided with a 2024 Nissan Versa. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage as a result of the crash. The driver of the second vehicle suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to an area hospital. There is no update on their condition at this time. Police charged the driver of the Freestar with failure to yield the right of way. No additional information has been released at this time.
