Port Clinton, OH (October 22, 2024) – An injury motorcycle crash occurred on Monday evening in Port Clinton, leaving two teenagers injured. The incident, reported by the Ohio State Highway Patrol, took place at approximately 5:51 p.m. on E 6th St, just east of Adams St.

According to troopers, an 81-year-old man from Port Clinton was backing out of a private driveway when he collided with two motorcyclists. A 19-year-old girl from Norwalk struck the side of the car, sustaining serious injuries, and was flown to Saint Vincent Hospital for treatment. She was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. A 17-year-old girl attempted to avoid the collision but lost control of her motorcycle, laying it on its side and sustaining minor injuries.

Emergency services were quick to respond, controlling the situation and managing traffic flow. Firefighters assisted in the extraction of the vehicles involved. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is conducting an ongoing investigation into the crash.
