Pusheta Twp, OH (September 11, 2024) – An injury truck crash occurred on Wednesday afternoon in Pusheta Township, Auglaize County, leaving one person injured. The incident, reported by the Ohio State Highway Patrol, took place at approximately 12:12 p.m. on CR25A near Leon Pratt Dr.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Jon P. Bair, 57, of Minster, was driving a 2021 Freightliner Cascadia truck and was turning south onto CR25A. Brett W. Eley, 38, of Wapakoneta, was driving a 2010 GMC Yukon SUV northbound when the two vehicles collided. Mr. Bair, the truck driver, was not injured. However, Mr. Eley, the SUV driver, sustained injuries and was transported to Miami Valley Hospital via CareFlight. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. Emergency responders, including local fire departments, were on the scene to manage the situation. They assisted in the extraction of the vehicles and controlled traffic in the area to ensure safety. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the cause of the accident and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
