Riverside, OH (December 21, 2023) – Emergency crews were summoned to provide assistance at the scene of an automobile accident that took place in the Riverside area on Tuesday morning, December 19. The Riverside Police Department was called to the crash site at approximately 11:30 a.m.
Police reports indicate that a white 2013 Kia Forte was stopped in traffic in the area of Harshman Road and Ohio State Route 4 due to being involved in a motor vehicle collision. While stopped in the left lane of travel, the vehicle was struck by a tan 2008 Chrysler 300. The incident prompted authorities to close down the roadway. One person involved in the accident was injured. The victim, identified as 25-year-old Michelle Gooley, was transported to Miami Valley South Hospital for emergency treatment. The accident is being investigated at this time by the Riverside Police Department.
