Ohio Pedestrian Accidents
Pedestrian accidents in Ohio can lead to serious and devastating injuries. According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, about 4,000 pedestrians are involved in crashes each year across our state. More than 80% of these accidents will lead to injuries and, in most cases, the injuries will be serious in nature. Pedestrians have very little protection from the impact of an accident and often have little time to avoid a crash.
If you or a family member have been affected by a pedestrian accident, you should speak with an attorney as soon as possible. Liability and fault for a pedestrian accident is often a contested issue. In some cases, it is necessary to conduct an accident reconstruction in order to determine how the crash occurred. An attorney can help present key pieces of evidence that will make the difference in your case.
