Ronald J. Maurer
Ronald Maurer has many years of civil and criminal litigation, and trial experience in both Ohio and Kentucky. He has successfully litigated cases in all levels of Ohio courts: trial, court of appeals, and the Ohio Supreme Court.
Mr. Maurer is admitted to practice in all state courts of Ohio and Kentucky. In addition, he is also a member of the bars of the United States District Courts of the Southern District of Ohio and the Northern District of Ohio.
Ron is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Ohio State Bar Association, the Kentucky Bar Association, the Ohio Association for Justice, and the Dayton Bar Association.
Ron is a graduate of Otterbein College and graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1994. While at the University of Dayton, Ron served as the Senior Production Editor of the 1993 – 1994 University of Dayton Law Review. He also served a summer internship with Ohio Supreme Court Justice Alice Robie Resnick in 1991.
During his law school tenure, Ron also won the 1994 Regional Mock Trial Championship.
In his practice, Ron has represented thousands of clients in various matters. Over that time, he has been on the winning side in many noted written decisions in cases such as Santos v. Ohio Bur. of Workers’ Comp., 101 Ohio St. 3d 74 (2004); Ross v. Farmers Ins. Group of Cos., 82 Ohio St. 3d 281 (1998); Hollon v. Clary, 155 Ohio App. 3d 195 (2003); and Bass v. Lucas, 131 Ohio App. 3d 627 (1999).
Ron has also been a speaker at seminars and published several articles. Ron combines his practical and scholarly experience to achieve the best possible results for his clients.
When he is not fighting for his clients’ rights, Ron likes to spend time outdoors with his wife and son. He can also often be found cheering for the Cincinnati Reds and Dayton Dragons.
