Toledo, OH (December 20, 2024) – An injury two-car crash occurred on Friday afternoon in west Toledo, sending two individuals to the hospital. The incident, reported by Toledo Police Department (TPD), took place shortly before 1:00 p.m. on North Reynolds Rd near Florita Dr.

According to TPD, a 19-year-old Toledo resident was driving north on Reynolds Rd when they lost control of their car due to wet road conditions. The vehicle swerved left of the center line and collided with another car heading south.

First responders, including the Toledo Fire Department, arrived on the scene shortly after the crash. The driver of the northbound vehicle and their 13-year-old passenger were transported to a local hospital with injuries. Their current conditions have not been disclosed.

The driver of the southbound car, a 44-year-old Toledo resident, was treated at the scene by emergency medical personnel before being released.

Authorities have confirmed that traffic was temporarily diverted while emergency responders worked at the scene. Firefighters were involved in the extraction of the vehicles, ensuring the safe removal of all occupants. The crash remains under investigation, and no charges have been filed at this time.
