Trotwood, OH (January 19, 2024) – The Trotwood Police Department responded to the scene of a car accident with injuries on Tuesday, January 16th. The collision happened around 10:00 a.m. on Salem Avenue near the intersection with Turner Road.
According to a report from officials, Christian Hinton, of Dayton, was driving a 2010 Dodge Ram on Salem Avenue when he arrived at the intersection with Turner Road. Hinton failed to stop at a stop sign and proceeded into the intersection. While in the intersection, his vehicle collided with a 2010 Dodge Charger driven by Charlene Alexander, of Dayton. A young child in Alexander’s vehicle suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The child was taken to Dayton Children’s Hospital for further treatment. There is no word on their condition or the extent of their injuries at this time. No additional injuries were reported as a result of the accident. Hinton was charged with failing to stop at a stop light or stop sign.
The accident remains under investigation at this time. There is no additional information available.
