Washington Village, OH (January 8, 2024) – Police in Washington Village responded to the scene of a car accident with injuries on Saturday, January 6th. The accident took place around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Washington Village Road and Lyons Road.
According to a police report, Chase Hoskins, of Dayton was driving a 2000 Honda Civic southbound on Washington Village Road when she came to a stop sign at the intersection with Lyons Road. Hoskin failed to stop at the stop sign and collided with a 2021 Honda Pilot driven by Michael Fink, of Springboro. Fink sustained injuries as a result of the crash and was taken to Southview Hospital for treatment. His exact injuries were undisclosed but are believed to be non-life-threatening. The Washington Township Fire Department assisted at the scene. Following an investigation, Hoskins was charged with failing to yield to yield the right of way. No additional information has been released at this time.
