Xenia, OH (March 4, 2024) – A motorcyclist in Xenia was seriously injured in a crash that took place on Sunday afternoon, March 3rd. The collision occurred around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of State Route 4 and Huffman Dam Road.
According to a report from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 36-year-old Lee Harper, of Fairborn, was driving a Ford F-150 westbound on Huffman Dam Road. Harper came to a stop sign at the intersection with State Route 4. At approximately the same time, 30-year-old Brandon Vonrhein-Snell, of Medway, was riding a motorcycle northbound on State Route 4. Harper made a left turn onto State Route 4 and struck Vonrhein-Snell’s motorcycle. Vonrhein-Snell suffered serious injuries as a result of the collision. He was treated at the scene before being transported to Miami Valley Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Harper was not hurt.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation at this time. There is no word on whether any charges are expected to be filed. No additional details are available.
